New Delhi: Acer has unveiled its latest gaming laptop, the Acer Aspire 5, in India. This new laptop is equipped with Intel’s 13th-generation processor and NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2050 GPU, providing high-performance capabilities for gaming enthusiasts. The Acer Aspire 5 features a lightweight metal chassis, weighing just 1.57 kg, making it a convenient choice for commuters.

Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer of Acer India, expressed excitement about the launch, stating, “With Aspire 5, we have encapsulated high-performance components within a thin and sleek chassis, providing our customers with an optimal gaming experience that can be easily carried anywhere.” This release follows the recent introduction of the Acer Swift Edge 16 laptop and Predator Triton 16 gaming laptop at Computex 2023 in Taiwan.

The Acer Aspire 5 gaming laptop is available in India at a starting price of Rs 70,990. Customers can purchase it from various authorized sellers, including Acer Exclusive Stores, Acer E-store, Croma, Vijay Sales, and Amazon.

In terms of specifications, the Acer Aspire 5 features a portable design housed in a lightweight metal chassis. It boasts a 14.0-inch IPS WUXGA display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, offering a wide viewing angle of up to 170 degrees and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The display incorporates Acer PurifiedView technology and is equipped with dual digital microphones featuring Acer PurifiedVoice technology for enhanced audio during conference calls.

Under the hood, the Aspire 5 is powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors, with configurations up to i5. It also packs the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU, up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage. Notably, the laptop takes advantage of advanced technologies such as DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and AI-specialized Tensor Cores on the GeForce RTX GPUs, delivering improved gaming performance. Acer has also incorporated Nvidia’s Optimus technology to optimize performance while maximizing battery life.

The Acer Aspire 5 comes with an FHD camera featuring 1920 x 1080p resolution and Temporal Noise Reduction technology for enhanced video quality.
