New Delhi: Ola, the ride-hailing startup, has introduced its new premium cab service, Ola Prime Plus, in Bengaluru. Bhavish Aggarwal, Co-founder and CEO of Ola announced the launch on Twitter, highlighting the service’s features and benefits. Aggarwal emphasized that Prime Plus would offer the best drivers, top-quality cars, and a hassle-free experience with no cancellations or operational issues.

Aggarwal further mentioned that Prime Plus would initially be available to select customers in Bengaluru. He encouraged people to try out the service and expressed his intention to personally use it frequently. Moreover, Aggarwal expressed his willingness to share his experiences with the service on Twitter. Notably, rides booked through Prime Plus would be priced lower than Ola Mini, which is the company’s most affordable cab option.

The specifics of the pricing structure for Prime Plus remain unclear. It is uncertain whether customers will be charged additional fees for the service or if it will function as a membership program similar to Zomato Pro. Zomato Pro, for instance, provides users with additional discounts compared to regular customers.

Ola currently offers various services through its app, including Mini, Auto, Bike, Prime Sedan, Prime SUV, and Rentals. Earlier this year, Ola made its entry into the premium electric vehicle (EV) segment, boasting a fleet of 10,000 EVs. The benefits of Prime Plus align with those previously promoted by Ola in the premium EV segment, such as top-rated drivers, a 100% trip guarantee, zero cancellations, and convenient 100% cashless payments.

As Ola expands its range of services, the introduction of Ola Prime Plus in Bengaluru provides customers with a higher-end option for their transportation needs. The emphasis on driver quality, superior vehicles, and a seamless experience suggests Ola’s commitment to providing a premium service to its users.
