‘Ezeepay’ is a Delhi-based fintech startup established in august 2018 with a primary objective to provide access to digital funds around India; the centerpiece is the rural area. Where the main prerequisite, but the opportunities are scarce. Ezeepay’s main focus is to fill this gap by promoting financial security, making payment easy and easily accessible. The company allows people to ring their customer service; a service agent visits their address or doorstep to ensure they get all the help they need to use banking services.

‘Ezeepay provides hassle-free digital transactions in urban and rural areas. Which includes Aeps (Aadhaar enabled payment system) service through YES bank, money transfer, bill payment, Micro ATM, and Bank account opening. Ezeepay offers online utility services like mobile recharge, travel and hotel bookings, and additional services like ITR filings, GST registration, MSME registration, etc. Additionally, it has an exclusive DDS (Digital Doorstep service) for women over 45 years of age and differently-abled such as visually impaired individuals, that brings banks to customers’ doorsteps’

Mr Musharraf Hussain, the COO of Ezeepay, shares his journey, “With leading corporations that introduced digitalization of money and Net banking services along with authentication. Ezeepay struggled to find its feet on the grounds of fintech like any other startups face. The lack of awareness regarding digital money was comparably lower in rural areas than in urban areas. Educating people about digital commerce was a major difficulty because people were more sceptical than indulging. Hence, people took more time to learn about digital payment methods. Our focus is on making services easy for people across India. It provides cost-free services to its users and primarily works for the economic welfare of people living in rural areas, helping people of India who aren’t smartphone literate or has no means of smartphones”.

“Compared to other Fintech companies, it is quite revolutionary and solely built for the monetary management of the rural people of India. Ezeepay is planning to go for its first round of self-funding. We envision a pan-India digital banking system with equal opportunity for everyone across India. In the coming 3 years, Ezeepay’s goal is to set up 2.5 lakhs of micro ATMs in rural areas to increase the no. of transactions for consumer comfort”, he added.

‘One needs to understand that every failure is driving us to the future ready. No matter how difficult the situation is, through determination and consistency one can achieve the outcome. As efforts do pays off and for that, there is no shortcut’
