New Delhi: Alphabet’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, took a moment to share his two-decade journey with Google, he mentioned how things have changed since he started in 2004 but said he still loves working there.

In an Instagram post, Pichai told, “April 26, 2004 marked my inaugural day at Google. Much has evolved since then – from technology advancements to the expanding user base of our products… even my hairstyle. Yet, the exhilaration of contributing to this remarkable company remains unchanged. Two decades in, I still consider myself fortunate.”

Pichai’s tenure at Google began when he joined as a product manager at the age of 31. Over the years, he played pivotal roles in various projects, including Google Chrome, Android, Google+, Maps, Search, and Ads. His close collaboration with Google’s co-founder and then CEO, Larry Page, propelled him to the position of Google CEO in 2015.

When Pichai got promoted, Larry Page, the co-founder and CEO of Google at the time, praised him for his ability to plan for the future and lead teams. Later on, when Page and Sergey Brin, another co-founder, stepped back from running the company, Pichai became the CEO of Alphabet, Google’s parent company. Page and Brin said that Pichai would be responsible for leading Google and managing Alphabet’s other business ventures.
