New Delhi: Muneesh Kapur will begin serving as Executive Director (ED) on October 3, 2023, according to a statement released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday. New Delhi: On October 5, Bajaj Finance disclosed plans to raise Rs 10,000 crore through a qualified institution placement and a preferential share issuance. The NBFC intends to raise up to Rs 8,800 crore through a QIP and Rs 1,200 crore through a preferential allocation to promote Bajaj Finserv. New Delhi: The Income Tax Department asked for a Rs 84 crore penalty for three assessment years, according to a statement made on Tuesday by Life Insurance Corporation (LIC), and the Corporation has opted to dispute the ruling. According to LIC, in a regulatory filing, the tax authorities assessed a penalty of Rs 12.61 crore for the assessment year 2012–13, Rs 33.82 crore for the assessment year 2018–19, and Rs 37.58 crore for the assessment year 2019–20.
