New Delhi: YouTube TV’s ‘multiview’ feature is now available on Android phones and tablets, letting users watch up to four streams at the same time. This feature was already available on iPhones and iPads for two months before coming to Android.
Launched in March 2023, the multiview feature is great for sports fans who want to watch more than one live game without switching channels. To use it on your Android phone or tablet, update the YouTube TV app to the latest version. You’ll then see the option in the “Top Picks for You” or “Watch in multiview” sections.
Right now, YouTube TV only offers selected streams for multiview, so you can’t choose any four channels to watch together yet. Google said on X that they are working on making it more flexible and adding more options soon.
YouTube TV isn’t the only service with a multiview feature. Apple TV started a similar feature for sports fans in May 2023, and Peacock recently announced that users can watch four livestreams at once for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
