Mumbai: Array Networks today announced it has ranked the first position in ADC market share as per the latest data by leading market intelligence firm IDC’s WW Quarterly Ethernet Switch Tracker. Array emerged as a leader with a market share at 34.2 % (in terms of Vendor Revenue) in Q4 2022 (Oct-Dec) from 31.6 % during the same quarter last year, as per the latest data release.
The revenue of the ADC market in India had a marginal growth of 7.5% QoQ (by vendor revenue) as per IDC WorldWide Quarterly Ethernet Switch Tracker, March 2023 release.
The ADC market witnessed a YoY growth of 5.4% (In terms of Vendor Revenues) for Q4 2022. Acceptance of ADC is growing to address multi-cloud management complexities, next generation security requirements and cater to high performance workloads while optimising the costs.
The sharp rise in cyber crimes, massive adoption of the Internet of Things (IoT) has raised security concerns across organisations, increasing the demand for application delivery controllers. An ADC shoulders the duty of serving as a load balancing and web accelerator software that enables uninterrupted interaction between the client and application servers. Furthermore, it governs and optimises the interaction of web application servers with client machines.
