New Delhi: ISG Provider Lens Network, a report on software-defined solutions and services for Singapore and Malaysia, selected Wipro as a leader on Wednesday. The Managed SD-WAN Services, SDN Transformation Services (Consulting and Implementation), Enterprise Networks Technology and Service Suppliers, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and Edge Technologies and Services were the five service provider categories in which ISG evaluated 34 service providers. with the company having a significant Software Defined Networking (SDN) presence in Singapore and Malaysia, it designated Wipro as a leader in the five Quadrants.
It added that the company’s emphasis on SDN transformation projects, constant value delivery for clients, supported by a wide range of network services, strong industry alliances, and in-depth technical competence are essential contributors to this recognition.

The survey also noted that edge services like IoT and SASE are becoming more popular in Asia. The demand for edge computing to analyze data on the Network before sending it to the leading data centre or cloud is being driven by this. Southeast Asia has been a market for Wipro for more than 20 years. Through the businesses it has bought, including Capco, Designit, topcoder, and Rizing, Wipro is also present in the area.
