New Delhi: Hilton and Dangayach Group recently announced the opening of Waldorf Astoria Jaipur, marking the first-ever Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts in India. The launch was celebrated with the signing of a branding and management agreement in Bengaluru. The Waldorf Astoria brand has a global presence with more than 30 iconic properties, and it is on a growth trajectory with 27 properties in the pipeline worldwide.
Christopher J Nassetta, president & chief executive officer of Hilton, expressed his excitement about the partnership with Dangayach Group and the launch of Waldorf Astoria Jaipur. He said that India is a key market for Hilton and that the hotel will set a new benchmark for luxury in Jaipur. Jaipur is known for its rich culture and history, and it is home to many architectural jewels, making it an ideal location to create unforgettable experiences.
The Waldorf Astoria Jaipur will span across 22 acres of land, and it will provide stunning views of the Aravalli Hills. The hotel will have 51 expansive pool villas and 174 rooms, in addition to the iconic Peacock Alley lounge and bar, which is synonymous with the Waldorf Astoria brand.
Alan Watts, president of Asia Pacific, Hilton, stated that the launch of Waldorf Astoria in India is a significant milestone in the growth of their portfolio in the country. With the Conrad, Hilton, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, and Hampton by Hilton brands already present, this debut will be a springboard for Hilton’s continued expansion across the Indian subcontinent.

The Waldorf Astoria Jaipur will join Hilton’s existing portfolio of 24 operating hotels and resorts and 13 in the pipeline across India.
