United States: Cantor Fitzgerald, SoftBank, Tether, and Bitfinex are partenering to start a huge $3 billion Bitcoin fund. The new project is said to be called 21 Capital.

Brandon Lutnick, the CEO of Cantor Equity Partners, is leading this team-up and inspired to mirror MicroStrategy’s successful investment approach in the crypto space. The allocation of the $3 billion fund is delineated as follows: $1.5 billion from Tether, $900 million from SoftBank, and $600 million from Bitfinex.

The objective of the fund is unequivocal: to invest significantly in Bitcoin with aspirations toward a $10 billion initial public offering (IPO), with projections estimating Bitcoin prices at approximately $85,000. This ambitious undertaking represents a pivotal moment for the institutional adoption of cryptocurrency and is supported by substantial investment from established global entities.

Cantor Fitzgerald’s involvement marks an exciting shift towards enhancing exposure to digital assets! With SoftBank’s history of bold moves, this collaboration seems set to make a significant impact in the financial world. As the Bitcoin acquisition fund comes together, both investors and industry experts are keeping a close eye on how 21 Capital will steer through the unpredictable crypto market and whether this joint venture will mirror the successes of other crypto-focused firms.
