New Delhi: Radhika Merchant, now officially known as Radhika Ambani, made headlines as she recently married Anant Ambani on July 12, 2024. Held in July 2024, the wedding was a big extravaganza where famous celebrities were invited, and it was more of a celebration of traditional Sanatani rituals and marked the coming together of two families.
After the wedding, Radhika took up the Ambani surname officially. It was a very vital step in both her personal and professional journey. In her first interview post the wedding, she spoke about her position as an Executive Director of Domestic Marketing at Encore Healthcare. “Her plans included not just adding more presence but to have a substantial presence across southern India. She also talked about using technology to make quality health care products reach every nook and corner of the country,” she added.
Talking to her past, Radhika started discussing her early days at Encore Healthcare. She said that she had started as a medical representative there. She had learned something from her first boss-the understanding of sales equips one to understand product management, finance, and distribution deeply. That became the basis for her leadership style of teamwork towards optimum delivery in healthcare.
More recently, Radhika was celebrating her birthday like any other normal one. The only difference it presented was being the first birthday with the Ambani family, and it was being celebrated at their lavish mansion known as Antilia in Mumbai. The morning was celebrated with the cutting of a birthday cake, amidst which she spent days of happiness with her husband, Anant, and father-in-law, Mukesh Ambani. Bollywood stars and sportspersons were seen attending the party, making it an interesting one.
