New Delhi: Vivek Oberoi, the Bollywood actor and business man made an interesting revelation about his take on life and success and how making profits is less important than having a purpose. In his opinion, money can provide comfort, whereas purpose can be a meaning of life. Vivek explained that when a person comes to him offering to do business with him, he questions them on whether they are interested in making quick profits or creating a long-term entity. He will not be interested in talking about money but will be willing to collaborate with them when they discuss making real value.
Vivek also told us of his experience of starting business when he was a teenager. His father would give him a small pocket allowance and this taught him how to handle money. He later on in life began a small business that dealt with the sale of Care Bear Arch Bears, including all the production and sales. The initiative occurred and made him courageous to venture further.
During the years, he acquired knowledge in the areas of teamwork, investing, and financial risks.
