Xiaomi introduces Xiaomi Pad 8 with performance focused hardware

New Delhi: So finally, after waiting this much, Xiaomi has officially launched its Xiaomi Pad 8 in India. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The tablet also offers two display options: nano-texture display and glossy display, which are especially designed for different usage scenarios.

This device is equipped with a 9,200mAh battery, and it runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. Xiaomi has also unveiled the Workstation Mode on the tablet, which offers a more desktop-like interface and enables users to switch between multiple applications more easily.

Now, if we discuss the pricing for the base variant, which has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, it is priced at Rs 33,999. It features an 11.2-inch LCD display with a 3.2K resolution and 800 nits of peak brightness, along with a 144Hz refresh rate. Xiaomi Pad 8 comes with a thinner and lighter design compared to the previous generation.

The Nano texture option focuses on the users who spend long hours reading, writing, or creating on the tablet. It also reduces the reflections and glare from the display, which can makes the screen more comfortable to use in bright environments.

The glossy display option aims to offer higher contrast and deeper colours, making it suitable for watching movies, gaming, and general content browsing.

The chip provides up to 32% better CPU performance and more than 50% improved GPU performance. This tablet also comes with the LPDDR5T RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It supports 45W turbo charging and a 67W charger inside the box.
