New Delhi: Xiaomi has officially revealed the launch date for its latest and upcoming Xiaomi 17 series in China. It is going to launch on September 25, 2025. The next-generation flagship smartphones, Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro, and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, are going to be officially launched on September 25. There are many users who know that Xiaomi has skipped the Xiaomi 16 series because they wanted to compete directly with the latest iPhone 17 series, and so they started working on the Xiaomi 17 series, but they have finished their work on the newest series very fast, but there is highlighting point, that in this series users going to have an incredible secondary display on the back panel.
Xiaomi 17 lineup will succeed last year’s Xiaomi 15 series, and it is tipped to deliver a cross-generation upgrade across performance, design, and software. The design teasers reveal that all of the variants will feature the Leica-backed cameras, continuing Xiaomi’s premium imaging partnership. Xiaomi is dropping the Ultra branding for its most premium model, replacing it with the Pro Max. This move appears to directly challenge Apple’s newly introduced iPhone 17 Pro Max, aligning the naming strategy with its biggest rival in the premium flagship space.
The latest upcoming Xiaomi 17 series will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and will ship with Xiaomi HyperOS 3, the company’s latest operating system. When it comes to imaging, Xiaomi is sticking with its premium collaboration; the entire lineup will feature Leica-powered camera systems across the board. Despite the hardware leap, Xiaomi has hinted that the Xiaomi 17 series price will not see a significant jump compared to the Xiaomi 15 series. But now it is confirmed that Xiaomi’s latest series is going to be unveiled on September 25, 2025, in China.
