New Delhi: Xiaomi has recently confirmed that it is preparing to launch one of its 17 series device models globally in January 2026. The Xiaomi device with the model number 25113PN0EC has appeared on Geekbench, and now it is expected to be the global Xiaomi 17 variant. The device is also stated to arrive in India around the same time. The Xiaomi 17 series was initially unveiled in China in September; the global variant is now expected to have similar specifications. The phone is listed on the benchmarking website with Android 16 and 12GB of RAM. The device is stated to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
The Xiaomi 17 in China features a 6.3-inch OLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. For cameras, the device includes a Leica-supported triple rear camera setup, which consists of a 50MP primary Light Fusion 950 sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor. At the front, it includes a 50MP primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling. The Xiaomi 17 is going to run on Android 16, based on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3.0 Interface. It packs a 7000mAh battery pack with a fast 100W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support.
Xiaomi has previously limited the Pro variant of the Xiaomi 15 series to China, and it may repeat the same approach this year. The reports also suggested that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are currently being tested in India. Xiaomi does not seem to be preparing Pro or Pro Max versions for the global markets at the moment, which aligns with the company’s pattern of keeping some models exclusive in China.
