Why only Nubia is using Under-Display camera technology

New Delhi: Why is there only one smartphone brand that is using the under-display camera technology, and why are other smartphone brands adopting this technology in their smartphone? They think that under-display technology is not that impressive. Do they think about it? So, in this article, we are going to discuss these questions, and at the end, you will get to know why they are not adopting the under-display camera technology for their smartphone.

Nubia is the only smartphone brand that uses the under-display camera technology. The reason behind this is that the brand focuses on the seamless, full-screen aesthetic and immersive experience, particularly for gamers, while also consistently investing in and refined this technology, even with its limitations, to achieve the holeless design rather than opting for more common solutions like punch-hole or notches. They wanted to provide a full-screen gaming experience to their gamers for the perfect gaming experience.

Now, the question raised is why other smartphone brands are not adopting the under-display camera technology. The reason behind this is that the technology has limitations, particularly regarding image quality, which is often blurry or hazy due to the screen layer blocking light. While the Nubia continues to develop and use the technology, major brands have prioritised camera performance and consumer satisfaction over the immersive, but compromised, under-display camera experience. Some brands use the under-display camera only niche device, like the inner screen of the foldable phone, where users may be more willing to accept the trade-off.

Samsung has also adopted this technology in their Samsung Galaxy Note 7, in which they have introduced the under-display camera technology, but these smartphone cases are unbelievable because some users have faced battery blast issues in this smartphone. After that, they have discontinued this smartphone series in India and globally. And if we discuss about the results of this under-display camera sensor, they offers some normal, means those image pixel are spread widely, no proper images are coming from this under-display camera sensor, and if we look the Nubia smartphone review of under-display camera then their results are also not good, not even normal, that’s why the Samsung not adopt the under-display camera technology in their other series, and Nubia is generally known for the gaming smartphone, so the users focuses explicitly on the gaming, so offer the under-display camera technology. This was the main reason why Nubia is only adapting under-display camera technology and why other smartphone brands are not adapting. These are the reasons they are not adopting the under-display technology.
