Now users can listen to incoming messages, reply to messages using voice, view call history, access their favorite contacts directly from the car interface, and enjoy a more complete messaging experience without touching the device.

WhatsApp now enables latest WhatsApp users to create an account directly on their iPad. With this upgrade, users can register directly from an iPad. However, the onboarding process is simpler for the users who are primarily use Apple’s tablet. This is particularly useful for education, business, and users who prefer tablets over phones.
Meta has simplified moving WhatsApp accounts between devices. This upgraded transfer process makes migration more reliable, reduces setup friction when changing phones, and helps to preserve the chats and account information during device switches.
WhatsApp is also refining voice and video calls by making it more easier for users to view recent calls, reach favorite contacts faster, and initiate calls with fewer steps across supported devices and in-car systems.
