New Delhi: Meta has officially confirmed that they have started experimenting with a new optional subscription service called WhatsApp Plus, which is focused on users who want to customize their messaging application beyond the standard green and white interface.
Several early testers have found that WhatsApp Plus is largely a cosmetic update, and it will include several other tools.
WhatsApp is experimenting with a latest optional subscription, specially designed for the users who want more ways to organize and personalize their experience. Premium features include extended pinned chats, custom lists, latest chat themes, and much more.
They are starting with a small experiment to gather feedback and ensure they are building something people find genuinely valuable.
However, Meta has not officially confirmed the features that are going to be available under the subscription model. The subscription version is under beta experiment, which means all or none of the features might be available.
WhatsApp hasn’t officially released any global list; the subscription will be relatively low-cost.
