New Delhi: At MWC 2026, Vivo has showcased the Vivo X300 Ultra, and the brand has been gradually revealing the key details about what it claims will be its ultimate camera device. Vivo X300 Ultra will going to feature a Sony LYTIA-901 sensor, which is going to make its debut globally on the device.
This device will have a 35mm main camera, a focal length often preferred for street and documentary photography. Vivo has also stated that this focal length offers a natural perspective that is well-suited for capturing people and real-world scenes with minimal distortion.
The main camera also combines with the 200MP sensor with a large 1/1.12-inch sensor size, which Vivo describes as the premium configuration for mobile photography. Vivo has also claimed that the effective light-gathering per pixel has increased by over 30% compared to the previous generation.
Stabilization has also been upgraded from CIPA 5.0 to CIPA 6.5, which is going to help improve handheld photography and video recording, especially in low-light environments.
Vivo has also improved the lens structure; the previous generation’s 7P lens setup has been replaced by a 1G + 6P optical configuration. The system also includes ALD PRO coating that has been reported to reduce reflections by around 30% alongside additional coatings designed to minimize ghosting and improve clarity in challenging lighting conditions.
Some rumours and reports indicated that Vivo X300 Ultra might include a 50MP Sony LYT-828 ultra-wide camera and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. For color accuracy, the setup is also expected to come with a 5MP multispectral sensor. On the front, the device might include a 50MP autofocus selfie camera.
Vivo has also showcased a 400mm teleconverter kit capable of delivering 17x optical zoom. Vivo X300 Ultra, paired with the accessory, focuses on professional creators. Vivo is also preparing another teleconverter kit, especially designed for everyday photography enthusiasts.
