Vivo V70 FE leak suggests focus on battery life and durability

New Delhi: Vivo, a leading smartphone brand from China, is now gearing up to unveil its latest V70 series soon, which will be the successor of last year’s V60 lineup. There will be four models which will be launched: Vivo V70, Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo V70 FE, and Vivo V70 Lite. Although Vivo has not yet announced the launch details, the Vivo V70 FE just popped up on a certification site. That usually means the global launch is right around the corner, Europe included.

Vivo V70 FE is backed by the massive 6870mAh battery, and it will come with 55W fast charging support. As for the efficiency, the Vivo V70 FE scores a Class B on the EU’s energy label. The battery has been built to last, and Vivo has also stated that it will retain more than 80% of its original capacity even after 1600 charging cycles. Vivo is following the latest EU rules for longer-lasting products.

Durability: The device comes with an IP68 rating, so it can handle dust and even water splashes. The screen gets a level four on the Mohs hardness scale, so it’s got some resistance against scratches. For drops, it gets a B rating, and for reparability, it lands at C, not perfect, but users could do worse. Vivo is preparing up to five years of software updates for the V70 FE, which is a big step for their mid-range phones.
