New Delhi: Vivo has officially announced and confirmed the first look of its upcoming S-series, the Vivo S2. A smartphone engineered to combine premium craftsmanship with intelligent camera systems, long-lasting battery performance, and software efficiency ahead of its debut later this week. It features an ultra-slim body coupled with a refined metallic appearance and iconic camera module.
It is specially designed for comfortable long-term handling; the device incorporates a smooth rear panel that transitions into a 6.83-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display, delivering an edge-to-edge viewing experience. Vivo S2 will be available in three color options: Silk White, Sapphire Blue, and Regal Bronze.
By addressing the growing demand for social-ready photography and video recording, the Vivo S2 comes equipped with a versatile camera setup built for various lighting environments. It has a 50MP Sony IMX852 sensor main camera and a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
4K video recording is available on both the front and rear cameras to facilitate seamless vlog creation. Features such as Aura Light Portrait and Dual View Video offer added flexibility for travel, nightlife, and group shooting scenarios.
Vivo S2 houses a large 7050mAh battery, offering ample power for streaming, navigation, gaming, and video capture throughout the day. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset. Out of the box, it runs on OriginOS 6 with several smart productivity and sharing utilities designed to simplify daily workflows.
Vivo S2 is scheduled to make its official introduction on August 6.
