New Delhi: Samsung has teased that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 may or may not live up to the Ultra name in terms of specs, but one sure thing is that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is going to be ultra-thin. In its first appetizing teaser for its upcoming foldable, Samsung hinted that the Fold 7 would feature a larger cover and foldable displays, and now a new teaser shines the spotlight on the phone’s super-slim chassis.

There have been numerous leaks and rumors suggesting that the Fold 7 will be Samsung’s thinnest foldable yet. Although the actual dimensions of the phone haven’t been revealed, the teaser indicates that users will be impressed by the hints from Samsung. The Fold 7 will also be the company’s lightest foldable yet, and after the Galaxy S25 edge, that doesn’t come as a surprise.
Samsung is also promising better durability and calling the Fold 7 its most advanced foldable yet. Unfortunately, this is just a teaser, so Samsung doesn’t offer any more details. Rumor has it that the Fold 7 will introduce some industry-first technologies, but it seems users will have to wait until the device launches to find out what those are.
What about the Galaxy Z Flip 7? Well, Samsung is choosing not to mention the foldable in these teasers explicitly, and that may be deliberate. The Galaxy Z Flip smartphones have featured designs thinner than the competition from the very beginning. Still, with the Flip 7 set to feature a larger battery, users don’t expect it to break any thinness records.
