The Ultra-thin wave hits India: Motorola Edge 70 arrives soon

New Delhi: Motorola’s ultra-thin Edge 70 has been launched globally, but it hasn’t been launched in India. However, Motorola has now confirmed that it is going to launch its ultra-thin Edge 70 in India soon. The Edge 70 will come with a 5.99mm side profile, joining the likes of Apple’s iPhone Air and Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge in the ultra-thin design category. A dedicated Flipkart microsite is now live, confirming the phone’s slim profile while keeping most other specifications undisclosed. The India variant is expected to align closely with the global model, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.

It will feature the 6.67-inch 1.5K pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4500nits. The device features a metal frame and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, and the device will include 12GB RAM and 512 GB onboard storage. The device will feature a dual rear camera setup with the 50MP primary camera sensor and an ultra-wide camera sensor, which is not disclosed. At the front, it will include a 50MP primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling. The main camera will support 4K video recording, which is good news for photographers.

This device will be housed with a 4800mAh battery, supporting 68W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The Motorola Edge 70 runs Android 16 based on Hello UI and includes built-in AI features. The device also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with the MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.
