New Delhi: NexDock, which is known for its latest innovative lapdock accessories, has revealed its latest product, the NexPhone. This device stands out as the first smartphone to run Windows 11, along with Android and Linux support, all in one. And it is set to unveil in 2026, the NexPhone promises to deliver a unique, versatile mobile experience to users. The NexPhone features a 6.58-inch touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, making it ideal for smooth interactions, by powering the device through a Qualcomm Dragonwing QCM6490 SoC, which is paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Users will enjoy the 5G connectivity for faster internet access. But there will be one central question in everyone’s mind, which is what makes this latest NexPhone different from other devices; it has the ability to dual-boot between Android, Linux, and Windows 11. A custom launcher provides a familiar interface, mimicking the classic Windows Phone Start screen. Users can switch to Windows 11 at any time, enhancing productivity by enabling access to PC applications directly from the smartphone itself.
When it is connected to the LapDock or monitor, the NexPhone transforms into a complete Windows 11 PC. This functionality offers the whole desktop experience, complete with a wide screen selection of applications suitable for various tasks. For those who prefer mobile applications, the NexPhone effectively runs Android applications, explicitly designed for its screen size. In terms of camera, it comes with the 64MP Sony IMX787 primary camera sensor and a 13MP Samsung S5K3L6 ultra-wide camera sensor, and on the front, there is a 10MP Samsung ISOCELL 3J1 primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
It houses a 5000mAh battery pack with IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. The NexPhone is slated for release in the third quarter of 2026. Customers can reserve a unit now for a $199 (roughly 18,220) deposit, which contributes to the total cost of $549 (approximately 50,000). The remaining balance of $349 (approximately 31,990) will be due upon delivery. The device also includes a 5-port USB-C hub, and it is designed to meet rugged standards, having achieved MIL-STD-810H certification.
