New Delhi: Tecno has officially announced they are going to unveil its latest Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G in India. Tecno has priced this at Rs 37,999 for the base model, and its sale starts from July 24 through Amazon India and offline retail stores. Tecno Camon is available in three color options: Emerald Lake Green, Galaxy Black, and Moonlight Silver. It features a 6.78-inch 1.5K ProXDR curved AMOLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate. With up to 4,500nits of peak brightness, it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Tecno Camon 50 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor coupled with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 onboard storage. Out of the box, it runs on HiOS 16 based on Android 16. However, Tecno promised to offer 3 years of Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates. In terms of cameras, it includes a 50MP Sony LYT-700C main camera sensor with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor, and an 8MP telephoto camera sensor with 3x optical zoom.
On the front, it includes a 50MP autofocus camera sensor for selfies and video calling. It has several features, which include: 4K video recording, underwater photography mode, AI imaging features, and a DXOMARK camera score of 146, which Tecno claims is the highest among phones priced under $600.
In the battery, it is housed with a huge 6,500mAh battery with 70W wired fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging support, and it also has reverse wireless charging support. The company has also added some AI-powered tools like: Dedicated AI Key for quick access, Ella AI Assistant, AI Writing, AI Translate, AI Call Assistant, AI Screen Recorder, Circle to Search support.
