New Delhi: For the First time ever, Huawei was the only smartphone brand to launch the tri-fold smartphone globally, which was the first time any company had introduced this type of concept in the mobile industry. But, there is an unbelievable entry of Tecno, in this tri-fold smartphone era, Tecno has entered this race, with their latest Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept for those multitasking users. The Chinese smartphone maker said that it will showcase an unbelievable entry at the Mobile World Congress 2026. Tecno will offer some exciting features and specifications to the users, by which multitasking will get better.
This is foldable, reimagined.

Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept is expected to feature a 9.94-inch display, and the company claimed that when this phone is folded, it will measure 11.49mm in thickness, and when the phone is unfolded, it will measure 3.49mm in thickness, which is pretty thin for a smartphone. Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept showcases an innovative G-style design; its expansive inner display folds inward twice, which means it completely shields the main screen from scratches and impacts when not in use, which is claimed by Tecno itself.
This Tecno Phantom Ultimate G Fold Concept uses a custom-engineered dual hinge system, comprising a small waterdrop hinge and a larger primary hinge. When this phone is folded, the small hinge allows the right portion of the display to fold inward, mimicking a traditional book-style foldable. The larger hinge then folds the remaining section over the top of the display.
This Tri-Fold might come with a triple-camera setup in the back, which will get some pretty cool camera sensors for photography, and in some sources, it is expected that this will get an over 5000mAh battery pack for the continuous usage of this smartphone in the long run. In 2024, Tecno unveiled a triple-fold concept phone, Phantom Ultimate 2, which was also showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2025.
