With this latest update of Spotify, it is now not just a music streaming application, but it is becoming a social platform where users can share their songs and other things via direct message, which is a pretty good thing they have done by this update, and this feature is also mind-blowing. This feature will be available for persons 16 years or above. These features will roll out on iOS and Android in the upcoming weeks. Users can find all of their shared messages in the Inbox tab, where they get to know whom they have shared their songs and podcasts with.
It will support only one-to-one conversation messages. In chat, in-chat users can react to those messages. There are also smart nudges. If users start a chat with someone for the first time, they can only they can begin to their conversation; this means, in terms of protection, it has a slight advantage. This feature is now only available on the mobile version; it is not available on the desktop version, but in the upcoming weeks, it will also be available on desktop versions.
