Sony LinkBuds Clip goes official in India with unique open-ear clip design

New Delhi: Sony has recently released its latest and first clip-style open-ear TWS earbuds, which are specially designed to compete with products like Huawei FreeClip, Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, and Shokz OpenFit. Earbuds feature an open-ear C-shaped clip design, enabling users to hear surrounding sounds while listening to music, making them very suitable for commuting, office work, cycling, and outdoor activities.

It is priced at Rs 18,990, and it is available in Sony retail stores and online e-commerce platforms. It comes in four color options: Black, Greige, Green, and Lavender.

It carries an IPX4 rating for splash resistance, making it suitable for workouts and light rain. These earbuds include some premium Sony audio technologies. It has 10mm dynamic drivers with DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) to improve compressed audio quality. With 360 Reality Audio support and a 10-band Equalizer via the Sony Sound Connect application. It has three listening modes: Standard, Voice Boost, and Sound Leakage Reduction.

It sports a bone-conduction sensor with dual microphones and AI-powered noise reduction with improved voice pickup in noisy environments such as streets or cafes. In connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint connection. It has Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair features with SBC and AAC codec support with these earbuds.

Sony claims it delivers up to 9 hours of playback on the earbuds and up to 37 hours of total battery life with the charging case. In a 3-minute quick charge, it offers around 1 hour of playback with USB-C charging support.
