New Delhi: Skullcandy has recently introduced its latest Crusher 1080 ANC, a wireless headphone featuring its patented adjustable Crusher Bass technology and Sound by Bose audio technologies. This wireless headphone uses a dual-driver system with 36mm drivers, combining full-range audio drivers and dedicated bass drivers to deliver an adjustable sensory bass experience. Crusher 1080 ANC lets users control the Crusher Bass level via the built-in Crusher wheel or the Skullcandy app.
It specifically redesigned the driver system to improve clarity, detail, sound separation, and bass response. It also supports Bose Sound Design Tuning and preset EQ modes, including Music, Movie, and Podcast, alongside a customizable 5-band EQ. It offers up to 60 hours of battery life with ANC turned off and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. Rapid Charge sports offer up to 4 hours of playback with a 10-minute charge.
It uses a 6-microphone adaptive noise cancellation system with multiple microphones and adaptive processing to reduce background noise. It also includes Quiet, Aware, and Off listening modes. It provides 3D audio with a wider soundstage while keeping the audio naturally positioned as users move their heads. Bose WaveForm Audio engine maintains a balanced audio output with controlled bass, clear highs, and reduced distortion.
Bose SpeechClarity will reduce background noise during calls, improving voice clarity. In terms of connectivity, it is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3, LE Audio and Auracast. However, the Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC headphones are priced at $279.99 (roughly Rs 26,950). Crusher 1080 ANC is available in four color options: Black, Candy, Primer, and Cement.
