Signature series arrives in India as Motorola expands portfolio

New Delhi: Motorola is now all set to unveil its next-generation premium device in India with the launch of the latest Signature series smartphone. The company teased the device last week, and now it has revealed some of the newest details through Flipkart’s microsite, offering a first look at its design and features. The Motorola Signature series could get a metal frame, a fabric finish rear panel, and a periscope camera setup.

Motorola has already confirmed that it will be introducing the Signature series, at least in India, on January 7, 2026. Some reports also claim that it will be a rebrand of the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. However, the lineup variants and other details are not confirmed at the moment. It will be available for sale on Flipkart, the Motorola India store and other e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Amazon. The Motorola Signature series is stated to be a premium offering, one of the devices is said to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with up to 144Hz of refresh rate.

It could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, the device may also offer an IP68 + IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and MIL-STD-810H military-grade toughness. It could run on Android 16 and is reported to provide stylus support, making it a direct rival of high-end productivity devices. The device is stated to come with a triple rear camera setup, which is led by a 50MP rear camera setup, including a periscope lens and a Sony Lytia primary sensor with OIS support. The main thing to highlight is that the details about the device are still not confirmed at the moment.
