Say goodbye to Apple TV+: Streaming service rebrands to Apple TV

New Delhi: Now, it is likely to think that Apple wanted to simplify their entire streaming ecosystem, the company has recently made a passing mention in some sources that they are rebranding Apple TV+ to just Apple TV with the latest identity, though no further details have been shared yet in any of the sources. The company has dropped this name design in its recent announcement about the F1: The Movie coming to its streaming platform on December 12th. Apple has briefly mentioned in a post that Apple TV+ is now simply Apple TV, with the vibrant new identity, without elaborating on the topic any further.

This change is not reflected anywhere else. The most confusing aspect about this change is the fact that the name is already used by the Cupertino Giant for its streaming application and hardware box. The users will be watching Apple TV, in the Apple TV application on their Apple TV.

Apple is now planning to streamline its naming scheme by branding everything related to streaming under a single label called Apple TV. They said that users want, but it is still better to rebrand Max as HBO Max again. They also don’t have any word on whether this latest naming scheme will come with the price bump. It seems unlikely since Apple already raised prices back in August. Since the latest iOS 26.1 update features a colorfully tinted Apple TV icon, users can expect this change to arrive pretty soon. Apple will drop more details on the rebranding in the coming weeks.
