New Delhi: Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Fold Wide have appeared on the FCC certification platform. The Galaxy Z Flip 8 has been tested for the SAR and compatibility with some cellular networks in the US, suggesting an imminent unveiling.
A portable handset with the model number SM-F776U has undergone an RF exposure test, specifically a SAR test report, which offers information on how much radio frequency energy is absorbed by the human body when using a mobile device.
The documents also reveal that the device comes with several cellular network capabilities, including GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G, and NB-NT N B255. Leaked reports also confirmed that the device will feature advanced features usually found on high-end and premium devices, like NFC, wireless charging, and wireless power sharing. Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to be powered by Samsung’s own 2nm-based processor, the Exynos 2600.
Galaxy Z Flip 8 might feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, whereas the cover display measures 4.1 inches.
It might be paired with a 50MP main camera sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor, whereas the cover display might get a 10MP selfie shooter. Out of the box, it might run on Android 17 with One UI 9.
