New Delhi: On Tuesday, Samsung officially confirmed that it will announce the dates of its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 6, 2025, at which it will launch its seventh generation of foldable phones. Samsung will likely launch an Ultra, for the first time, and its base variant, as well as a flip phone.

Regarding the portable names, they are known as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Galaxy Z Flip 7. The latest generation of foldable phones from the South Korean electronics major is likely to run the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in every region, including India.
Samsung has emphasised the AI front with a press note saying, “As AI rapidly becomes the latest user interface, it’s redefining people’s relationship with the technology.” No longer just a collection of applications and tools, the smartphone is evolving into an intelligent companion that understands user intent and responds in real time. Samsung will launch the new foldable phones in Brooklyn, New York, on July 9, which will be streamed at 7:30 PM IST. They are likely to launch on July 10 in India with local pricing and the variants of the next-generation foldable phones by Samsung.
