New Delhi: Samsung has officially announced its latest One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 for the Galaxy Watch 6 series. Users of smartwatches are eagerly awaiting the major upgrade worldwide. However, Samsung is still testing the software on the Beta channel in Korea. One UI 8 Watch Beta 5 for the Galaxy Watch 6 brings two significant improvements. It has resolved the time display-related issue when the Daylight Saving Time is activated. The changelog shows explicitly the improvements for the overall performance.
As the users continue to report issues, Samsung is providing necessary enhancements. The aim is to give the fans a reliable user experience. The Korean company is likely to kick off the public rollout by the end of this month. Owners of the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic can identify the update through the PDA build version ending with the ZYK2. It’s exclusively rolling out to the users who have participated in the Beta Program in South Korea. Samsung is no longer running the One UI 8 Watch Beta Program in the Global market.
To grab the latest update, open the Galaxy Wearable application on their Galaxy phone. Inside the application, open Watch Settings, followed by the Watch Software update, like the mobile, hit the download and install button to initiate the process. Samsung, last month, began rolling out a Stable update to the Galaxy Watch 7. The Beta Program is also expected for the Galaxy Watch 5 series. However, the Watch 4 series will directly jump to the Stable, without any Beta Program.
