Samsung One UI 8 month starts check supported devices & updates

New Delhi: After the long time waiting, September has started, and now this month is all set for the exciting month especially for the Samsung users, Samsung has officially confirmed that they are started rolling out the stable One UI 8 update in upcoming weeks, that is going to brings some of the crazy features to the Galaxy devices, but this update will be based on the Android 16. The Galaxy S25 lineup will get the first stable One UI 8 update. Samsung may also expand the rollout this month to their other flagships, including the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and the Galaxy S24 series.

One UI 8 stands out for the couple of the reasons, it marks the fastest release of the major Android and the One UI upgrade in the same year as the previous version, while the One UI 7 took longer to arrive for the Samsung smartphones, Samsung also worked closely with the Google this time to ensure Android 16 and the One UI 8 are ready much earlier than usual.

This release flips Samsung’s usual pattern; for the first time, the company is pushing the latest version of the One UI to older devices after already launching the latest phones, including its latest foldable flagships, running the same software. And by the time the rollout begins, Samsung will have announced a couple of more devices like the latest confirmed Galaxy S25 FE (Fan Edition) and the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup that come preloaded with the One UI 8. But it is still unclear exactly when the rollout will kick off in September, but it’s safe to say One UI 8 months is officially underway. If the users own an eligible device, now is a great time to get ready.
