New Delhi: Samsung is getting ready for another Galaxy event this month. The company has announced the next Galaxy Event will be held on August 27, 2026. Samsung hasn’t officially revealed any of the name of device, but it will going to share the name of the “latest addition” to the Galaxy S26 lineup.
This unpacked event is expected to be dominated by the Samsung’s mostly and widely rumored Galaxy S26 FE, which might going to be the cheaper of the Galaxy S26 lineup. These details should not going to be considered as official information, as Samsung has not officially confirmed the name of the S26 FE.
Galaxy S26 FE likely to be the star
The invitation from Samsung hints at some of the key camera and AI capabilities witnessed in the Galaxy S26 series. The company will also showcase the latest version of its One UI software, which promises to add new AI features and improve the user experience overall.
There are already several leaks that have pointed towards the Galaxy S26 FE. Galaxy S26 FE is reportedly powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 2500 chipset and the display is stated to have a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and is 6.7-inch AMOLED display. Meanwhile it will also going to be equipped with a 45W fast wired charging support and a standard 4,900mAh battery for all-day usage.
The camera system might going to consist of a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera. Out of the box it will runs on One UI 9 and Android 17.
