Samsung expands Galaxy AI with Gujarati language integration

New Delhi: Samsung has recently announced to add two latest languages to the Galaxy AI, which will include Gujarati and Filipino. This expanded language support has been rolling out since yesterday. The South Korean company has stated that it will now provide total language support. As the Galaxy AI continues to evolve, users in even more regions can now access its suite of intelligent features designed to make communications and productivity easier and more intuitive in everyday life.

Samsung has earlier stated that more than 70% of Galaxy S25 users regularly engage with the Galaxy AI and Google Gemini features, with nearly half, 47% of consumers today, relying heavily on the AI in their day-to-day lives. The percentage of Galaxy S25 users engaging with the Galaxy AI is around 91% in India. Galaxy AI made its debut with the Galaxy S24; it has reached 200 million devices in 2024, and now Samsung aims to bring the Galaxy AI to over 400 million devices by the end of 2025.

These features were created with deep linguistic understanding and regional insight to ensure Galaxy AI adapts naturally to the ways people are communicating. The Gujarati and Filipino languages were developed in close collaboration with the Samsung Research centres in India and Indonesia, respectively. The company also stated this expansion reinforces Samsung’s mission to break down language barriers and deliver intuitive, AI-powered mobile experiences to the broader global audience.
