New Delhi: Samsung has officially introduced its most-awaited device in India. They have expanded their Galaxy M-series by introducing their latest Galaxy M17e in India. This device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and houses a big 6,000mAh battery.
Samsung has also claimed that the device can offer up to 26 hours of video playback. Samsung has also stated that the device offers some AI features, including Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and much more.
It is priced at Rs 13,999 for the base variant, which has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. And it is available in two colour options: Vibe Violet and Blitz Blue. It features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports High Brightness Mode for better outdoor visibility.
This device comes with a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer back panel. This chipset includes two Cortex-A76 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. It also integrated with the ARM Mali-G57 GPU is designed to handle graphics for multimedia playback and casual gaming while maintaining power efficiency.
In terms of the camera, this device features a 50MP main camera sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait photos. On the front, there is an 8MP main camera sensor for selfies and video calling. It houses a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging.
Samsung claims that the device offers up to 26 hours of video playback. This device runs on One UI 8 based on Android 16. This device also supports Google Gemini AI, which can help to generate text, explain topics, summarise information, and assist with planning tasks. It also includes Circle to Search, enabling users to search for information directly from the screen by circling or tapping objects, text, or images.
The company has also confirmed that it will be offering 6 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates. It carries IP54 dust and water resistance, Samsung Knox Vault security, and access to Samsung services such as Samsung Health and Samsung Members.
