New Delhi: Google is now crafting its Photos application tailor-made for Samsung AI TVs. The rollout is now all set to start in 2026, with the two major features coming in the second half. Like the Circle to Search, the latest applications will be exclusive to the Samsung TVs initially. Samsung has recently revealed its work with Google to optimise the Photos application for its AI TVs. The company has aimed to enjoy moments like trips, hobbies, and everyday memories on an immersive and larger screen.
Google Photos is expected to incorporate with the TV experience. Samsung has also asked Google to optimise the application that will display pictures through Daily+ and Daily Board, and it all should happen with the simple Google Account sign-up. Google Photos on Samsung TVs will let users explore curated memories organised by people, places, and moments. The application will expand the suite of photo-driven experiences that integrate with the Vision AI Companion.
Memories of Google Photos will feature curated stories based on people, locations, and meaningful moments on TV, as the feature is coming to the TV segment for the first time, which will be exclusively available on Samsung TVs for 6 months. Google Photos will also get the Nano Banana-powered Create with the AI feature. Samsung TV users will be able to utilise the trending Remix feature to transform the art style of an image or Photo to Video to bring still moments to life as short videos. Users may view related photos as a slideshow based on topics or the contents of memories. Like the Create with AI, Personalised Results is expected to be rolled out to qualifying models in late 2026.
