The response was overwhelming, with thousands contributing their ideas. One notable contributor was the “Peak Bengaluru” account, known for its focus on the startup hub of India. They had a unique request for Altman: to create a video showcasing the completed Ejipura flyover in southern Bengaluru.
The Ejipura flyover, under construction for nearly seven years, has become a symbol of stalled urban development, earning the nickname “Bangalore Stonehenge” on mapping platforms. The account’s prompt for a video depicting the fully functional flyover garnered attention, sparking further Bengaluru-themed prompts for Sora.
This request comes in the context of ongoing frustration over the delayed completion of the flyover, which was intended to alleviate traffic congestion and improve connectivity between Ejipura and Madiwala. Despite occasional updates, progress on the project has been minimal since its inception in 2017.
