New Delhi: Redmi has officially shared the latest details about its upcoming Redmi Note 17 Pro ahead of its official debut in China on July 14. Redmi has now confirmed that the Note 17 Pro will come with a bigger battery capacity, charging capabilities, and the latest after-sales program that is specially designed to keep the battery in good condition for years after purchase.
Redmi is going to offer a massive 9,000mAh battery by making it one of the largest batteries in its segment. However, the battery has received TUV SUB five-star multidimensional battery quality certification and supports 67W wired fast charging.
This device also supports 22.5W wired reverse charging, enabling it to power compatible accessories and other devices when needed. Redmi has announced a complimentary five-year battery upgrade program for customers who purchase the device during its first sale. Redmi says it will replace it with the higher-capacity 10,000mAh battery rather than the other 9,000mAh battery, provided the service terms are met.
It features a flat display that offers a 1.5K resolution and 3,500nits of brightness under sunlight. It features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and it has also passed SGS and CQC dual five-star drop resistance certifications after surviving a 3-meter marble drop test.
It also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings along with TUV SUD certifications for surviving 2 meters underwater for up to 72 hours.
