New Delhi: Realme has started teasing its upcoming Realme 16 Pro series in India. The Realme 16 Pro series will succeed the Realme 15 Pro series, and it is likely to target the premium mid-range segment. According to the company teasers, design and cameras will be the key focus for the Realme 16 Pro series, along with good performance and battery life. It has a refined design language with a specific emphasis on craftsmanship and device durability. At the same time, the particular hardware details and release dates have not yet been disclosed.


According to some teasers, the Realme 16 Pro Plus will be powered by the Snapdragon processor, which is likely to have a higher score on AnTuTu compared to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 in an unnamed competitor. Realme has also signalled that the cameras will be the key focus for the Realme 16 Pro series. The teasers also hint at the portrait mode up to 10x zoom, perhaps hinting at the telephoto lens. Users will get AI editing features to tweak or enhance their images. The Realme 16 Pro Plus also claims to have longer battery life compared to its competitor, which has a 6500mAh battery pack. The Realme 16 Pro Plus is likely to have a battery larger than 6500mAh.


Realme has also confirmed that the 16 Pro series will run on the latest Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16. The devices will get 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches. The Realme 16 Pro series is expected to launch in January 2026. Realme is also gearing up to launch the Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x in India. The Realme Narzo 90 gets a camera module, which looks quite similar to the iPhone 16 Pro, but the backplate does get three stripes to add a unique element. The company has confirmed that devices will come with 7000mAh batteries with support for 60W fast charging. The Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x will feature a 144Hz display, with the Narzo 90 getting peak brightness of 4,000nits. The Realme Narzo 90 and the Narzo 90x are set to launch on December 16.
