New Delhi: Realme has finally revealed that when they are going to launch their upcoming Realme GT 8 series, the Chinese launch is set for October 21. In addition to the release date, Realme also teased some more impressive specifications of this latest series. The teaser talks about the GT 8 Pro, so users don’t know which features will transfer over to the vanilla GT 8 as well. The Pro is expected to come with a larger battery, new charging capabilities, and a slimmer and lighter body.
The Realme GT 8 Pro’s battery will be the highlighted part because this time they have upgraded the battery part; now they are going to offer a 7000mAh battery pack so that users can perform their routine tasks throughout the day without any issues. There will be a super-fast 120W wired fast charging support. The GT 8 Pro also features fast wireless charging to get 50W and the 10W reverse wireless charging. Bypass charging is also on the list of features. Realme also reminds that the GT 8 Pro can play well in other non-proprietary charging standards.
The phone will be slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, tipping the scales at 214g and measuring 8.2mm in thickness, despite having a bigger battery and wireless charging coil. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and it shows impressive raw performance for the user’s powerful gaming experience in this smartphone. This chipset will be coupled with the custom dedicated R1 gaming display chip.
