New Delhi: Poco has recently confirmed that they are going to launch their latest budget-friendly 5G device, which will be called Poco M8 in India soon. There is a dedicated teaser page on Flipkart with the tagline “Designed to Slay”, suggesting that the company is positioning the device as a performance-driven option for young buyers who want a capable device without stepping into the premium pricing. Poco has also revealed the name on their official X platform.

The teaser also gives a first look at the rear design, which carries forward Poco’s familiar dual-tone finish. The phone will be available in three colour options, and it will feature a dual-camera setup at the back. This latest Poco M8 is expected to feature a 6.77-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage in the global markets. The device is also stated to pack a 5,520mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support and an IP65 rating for the dust and water splash resistance.
The Poco M8 5G focuses on the everyday performance, battery life and smooth display at an affordable price. If the Poco manages aggressive pricing, the device could become a strong pick for users and first-time 5G users who don’t want to stretch their budgets. The potential buyers should definitely wait for official pricing and full specifications before making a decision. The Poco’s current M-series users might consider this an upgrade if the price is right. Poco M8 is expected to launch sometime in January 2026, with more details likely to be revealed in the coming days.
