New Delhi: Google has recently introduced its special edition of the Pixel 10a, unveiling a new color called Isai Blue. This latest variant marks the 10th anniversary of Pixel devices, and it is currently exclusive to Japan. Alongside the latest color, Google has also added custom user interface elements to the software to match the theme.
Pixel 10a was launched in February, which is powered by the Google Tensor G4 processor and a 5,100mAh battery. Existing colors of Pixel 10a include Lavender, Berry, Fog, and Obsidian.
Its name is based on the Japanese word Isai, which refers to individuality and uniqueness. This version has been created in collaboration with Heralbony, the creative group that works with artists with disabilities and aims to express diverse perspectives via art and sound.
The idea behind this edition is to reflect individuality and different forms of expression. Compared to the regular color options, Isia Blue has been featured with a deeper blue tone, and it also carries a more artistic theme. This device will be on sale starting on May 20, and it will be available only in Japan.
The company has also added exclusive software customizations to match the theme. Japan-only edition comes with the special Material You designs, including wallpapers and icon styles based on the artwork from artists like Shigaku Mizukami, Midori Kudo, and Kaoru Iga. The users can also choose from nine different design styles.
If the users select design style, application icons, and system colors adjust automatically to match the chosen artwork, by offering the device a consistent look.
