New Delhi: OPPO will unveil the Find X10 series on October 21 in Mallorca, Spain, the company said Thursday. The pitch is simple: cameras first, everything else second.
The lineup has two phones, the Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max. OPPO is making a big claim about the Pro Max. It says this is the first smartphone with 200MP sensors on the ultra-wide, main and telephoto cameras, all co-developed with Hasselblad. The standard Find X10 gets two 200MP cameras. Whether more megapixels mean better photos is an old argument, and OPPO’s launch will have to settle it with real samples.
The company’s answer is software. Its new LUMO True Image Engine is built around what OPPO calls “true-to-life” imaging. It pairs the Master Mode tone rendering with color data from a dedicated True Color Camera, aiming for accurate skin tones, texture and contrast. Pete Lau, OPPO’s chief product officer, said the idea is that users can “simply open the camera and capture the moment as you see it,” with no settings to fiddle with.
Video gets a real upgrade too. On the Pro Max, all three rear cameras shoot 4K at 120fps and 8K at 30fps. The Find X10 matches that on its two 200MP cameras. Both phones also add Open Gate Capture, which records using the sensor’s full area. Creators can then crop the same clip for landscape or portrait in post.
On design, OPPO is calling it Borderless. A single piece of sculpted glass flows into the camera module to soften the bump. The Pro Max in Luna White borrows from classic cameras, with a knurled module, Hasselblad’s orange accent ring and a matte silver camera island. The Find X10 comes in Glacier Blue, Glow Coral and Mist Grey. The Pro Max also comes in Titanium Grey.
Inside, the Find X10 runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600M. The Pro Max is among the first phones with the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro. Both carry an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which OPPO says lasts up to two days of typical use. It also says the cell should keep more than 80% of its capacity after five years, a figure that comes from OPPO’s own lab.
The footnote matters here. Battery capacity varies by market, and in selected regions both phones ship with a 7,150mAh battery instead. OPPO hasn’t said which markets those are.
The phones run ColorOS 17, which brings a redesigned look called Living Flow Design and an AI feature named Mind Pilot. Its Agent Mode is meant to work across files and photos on the phone and finish multi-step tasks from a single prompt. Agentic AI has been a popular promise this year, and few phones have delivered it convincingly.
Pricing, full specs and availability were not announced. OPPO says those will come at the Mallorca event.
