New Delhi: Oppo has officially started to release several details about its upcoming Reno 16 series ahead of unveiling in China on May 25. This series is expected to include the standard Oppo Reno 16 and Oppo Reno 16 Pro, which appear to focus heavily on camera upgrades, larger batteries, and premium design refinements.
Oppo has officially confirmed that both devices will feature a triple rear camera setup, which is going to be led by a 200MP main camera sensor.
With the 200MP main camera sensor, the Reno 16 series camera setup will going to include a 50MP ultra-wide camera sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera sensor, and a smart LED flash module.
The MP count remains identical across both devices; the underlying camera hardware might differ between models. This device might use refined versions of the imaging sensor seen on the earlier Reno 15 series.
With the versatile camera setup, the Reno 16 series might compete with the Vivo X300 FE. Reno 16 series camera setup indicates Oppo is continuing to prioritize versatile photography.
The company is also going to unveil the latest smartphone accessory called the Oppo Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen, which is all set to be introduced alongside the Reno 16 series. The circular display is specially designed to attach magnetically to the back of the device. Bubble Trendy Selfie Screen appears to function as a remote camera companion for Oppo devices.
