New Delhi: Oppo is now all set to introduce its Android Quick Share interoperability with Apple’s AirDrop to the Oppo Find X9 series later this month. This latest feature will enable users to wirelessly share files between Oppo devices and Apple devices without installing additional applications.
This comes after Google extended Quick Share interoperability with AirDrop to its Pixel 9 series devices, following its initial rollout last year on Pixel 10 series devices.
Along with this, Oppo is also gearing up to expand its Find X9 series by introducing Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s models. Oppo Find X9 Ultra might also arrive in India it has not yet been confirmed. The Oppo Find X9 series in India will going to includes the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.
The feature will be arriving on the Oppo Find X series via software update in March. The functionality has been aslodeveloped in collaboration with MediaTek and Google. The users will be able to transfer files between Oppo devices and run AirDrop on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS.
Oppo stated that the system will enable secure file sharing without requiring third-party applications. Support for cross-platform b sharing between Android and Apple devices was first unveiled last year with the Google Pixel 10 series. This feature will later extend to the Google Pixel 9 series models.
Quick Share compatibility with AirDrop support will expand to more Android devices, and Oppo is among the first few brands to offer a rollout schedule.
