New Delhi: Oppo just dropped the Find X10 Pro Max, and honestly, the camera setup is the headline here three 200MP sensors on the back, which is a bit absurd when you stop to think about it. You’ve got a 24mm main shooter on a 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/1.5 and dual-axis stabilization, a 13mm ultrawide with autofocus and a claimed 124-degree field of view, and a 70mm telephoto that can also focus down to 10cm for macro work. Oppo’s claiming 17 stops of dynamic range at 1x on the main camera, which if it holds up in real-world shooting rather than just marketing slides would be genuinely impressive. Front camera’s 50MP with autofocus too, so no cutting corners there either.
What’s interesting is the timing. This launched right on the heels of the vivo X500 Pro Max, which came out just a day earlier running the exact same chip MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro. Same silicon, but Oppo’s clearly trying to win the camera arms race outright rather than just matching spec-for-spec. Makes users wonder if that was the intentional positioning or just how the release calendar happened to fall.
Battery life looks much solid too 8,000 mAh, with 80W wired SuperVOOC charging and 50W wireless which last full day. Oppo also stated that it’ll retain at least 80% capacity after 5 years of use, which is the kind of longevity claim that’s nice to see stated outright rather than of buried in a specification sheet somewhere.
The screen is a 6.78-inch AMOLED, 1272×2772, hitting 144Hz but only in supported games (120Hz is the system-wide ceiling), 288Hz touch sampling, and 2,000 nits peak brightness. Out of the box it’s running on latest ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, and it’s been rated IP66/IP68/IP69 so dust, submersion, and high-pressure water jets are all covered, which is about as thorough as water resistance certification gets right now.
Colors are Moon White, Warm Orange, and Light Titanium, and it’s a touch over 8mm thick, weighing in around 233-235g depending on the finish. Pricing starts at CNY 6,799 (roughly $1,015) for 12GB/256GB, climbing to CNY 8,999 (about $1,344) for the top 16GB/1TB config. Pre-orders are open now in China, with shipping kicking off September 24.
No word yet on global availability, which is usually the bigger question with Oppo’s top-tier Find X phones they don’t always make it to every market.
