New Delhi: Oppo has recently reported that it is now planning to unveil its Reno 15C device in India, by expanding the upcoming Reno 15 series beyond the three confirmed models: Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro and the latest Reno 15 Pro Mini. According to some sources, the Oppo Reno 15C could be positioned as a more affordable device within the Reno 15 series. However, it is still unclear whether the Reno 15C will launch along with the rest of the Reno 15 lineup or be unveiled separately.
This Oppo Reno 15C was recently launched in China; some reports stated that the Indian variant could be offered with a different configuration. According to reports, the Reno 15C is expected to feature a 6.57-inch Full HD LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1400nits. The device is stated to measure around 8.14mm in thickness and weigh between 189g and 195g.
The Oppo Reno 15C is likely powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. For the cameras, the device is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup, led by the 50MP primary camera sensor, likely to be paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor and a 2MP macro camera sensor. On the front, it features a 50MP primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling. The device is expected to house a massive 7000mAh battery, which is also likely to support 80W wired fast charging. The device is also likely to be priced under Rs 40,000.
